Exploring New Mexico

During my trip to New Mexico, I explored its fascinating terrain and incredible National Parks with my easel and paints in tow. Along the way, I created a collection of three New Mexico state paintings and two National Park pieces that capture the unique beauty of the region. At White Sands National Park, located just outside the Lincoln National Forest, I painted the striking dusty sands and towering mountains right on site. The contrast of the bright white dunes against the rugged peaks was unforgettable. In the quaint town of Carlsbad, I explored and painted the mesmerizing and out worldly Carlsbad Caverns, another very unique National Park.
